ABOUT US

OUR POLICY
It is our policy to protect our client’s investment. We make inspections of existing roofs to determine the feasibility of repair versus replacement. Our experience and unbiased viewpoint produce solutions to roof problems that are less costly, and more efficient than those proposed with a hidden agenda to sell their products and services.

CODES / WATER PROOFING / INSTALLATION
The roofing industry has been experiencing a period of tremendous change with the influx of new roofing materials, and code changes made after last years hurricane season. Our hands-on experience with roofing, and waterproofing systems application, and the knowledge gained from the investigation of roofing and waterproofing system failure enables us to provide you the most up-to-date information, and to assist you in any decision regarding the use/installation of a particular roofing or waterproofing system.

ROOF WARRANTIES AND TRUE BENEFITS
A roof warranty, although an integral portion of roofing specifications, will not keep water out of a building or a home. There is a common misconception by roofing consumers that roof warranties are all-inclusive insurance policies designed to cover virtually any roofing problem, regardless of the cause or circumstance. Roof warranties typically do not warrant that the roof system will not leak, or is suitable for the project where it is installed. Even the most comprehensive manufacturer warranties that cover material, and workmanship generally provide only that the manufacturer will repair leaks that result from specific causes enumerated in the warranty. A materials-only warranty typically provides only that the manufacturer will provide replacement material.

As we examine the construction industry today, the area of roofing stands out above the others as having a constant decline in quality of workmanship skill, design, material performance, and system performance. Those components working together, when coupled with the “out-of-sight/out-or-mind” attitude of the segment of management controlling the “purse strings”, creates a frustrating, and costly problem to building owners, and property managers.

THE CHANGING ENVIRONMENT
Architects for years have employed consultants for structural, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical portions of construction projects. This is due to the specialized nature of each of these fields, and that architects cannot possess expertise in all aspects of a project. Many architects are recognizing the need for qualified roof consultants because of the rapidly changing roofing industry, and the complexity, and number of systems available today.

YOUR ADVOCATE DURING LITIGATION
In many states two thirds (2/3) of construction litigation involves roofs. Liability and workers compensation insurance has skyrocketed to compound an already difficult situation. While no one can wave a magic wand over these problems and make them all disappear, they can be controlled. The chance that you have been, or will be experiencing problems with your roofing system is great. You need to have an advocate on your behalf, that person is a Roof Consultant.
